From their sweet beginnings as best friends in middle school to their gas station proposal and unforgettable wedding day, their journey is a true testament to love and family. With the help of their loved ones and the flexibility of the White Barn, they created a wedding that was as meaningful as it was beautiful.
How They Met:
Allie and Jet’s story began when they were just teenagers. “We met in my 8th-grade year and my husband’s 9th-grade year and became best friends fast! We hung out every weekend with our friends and quickly liked each other.”
The Proposal:
Jet planned a day full of surprises to pop the question. It started with a flight to Cascade, Idaho, where they explored the mountains. Though Allie thought the proposal would happen during the adventure, Jet had a different plan. Later that night, at the gas station where they shared their first kiss years earlier, Jet got down on one knee. “Jet proposed at the gas station, where it all started! It was perfect,” Allie recalls.
Wedding Vision:
They envisioned a day surrounded by loved ones, celebrating with family and friends. “I wasn’t picky, and the day went better than I could have ever imagined,” she says.
Favorite Moments:
• The Helicopter Send-Off: “Our send-off in the helicopter at the end of the night was my favorite moment. To just be the two of us at the end of the day, finally married, was perfect.”
• Unexpected Fun: “We were so blown away by how many people came to our reception and how spoiled we were. It was amazing!”
Why They Chose the White Barn:
The White Barn’s flexibility was a huge draw for Allie and Jet. Unlike some venues that limit outside contributions, the barn allowed them to involve family and make their day personal and affordable. “Jet’s mom did all the decorating and flowers, and our family helped with the food, which made it so much more special—and budget-friendly,” Allie shared. The barn’s charm and versatile layout gave them the freedom to create their perfect wedding without breaking the bank.
